Matthew & Dannielle (Huntington Beach, CA)
I could go on and on about this couple. Dannielle and Matt are two very dear friends from school. They were married in Huntington Beach, CA a little over a month ago. It was an absolutely beautiful day, filled with sunshine, sacraments, street performers, family, a little gin, and the coast guard even showed up! We headed to Huntington Beach Pier for pictures… and I think I’m still recovering from the experience.
One of the most special things about this day was Dannielle’s grandma Dot. In the little interaction I had with her I can say with conviction that she was a woman of courage, faith and strength. Battling cancer in the later years of her life, Grandma Dot was able to overcome it and miraculously attend her granddaughter’s marriage to Matthew. Four days after the wedding, Grandma Dot passed away. May her soul rest in peace.
It was an absolute blessing to be a part this wedding. Matthew and Dannielle, thank you for letting me be a part of your first day as man and wife!
Elizabeth, You have such an incredible eye for catching the perfect moment!!! The angles and lighting on some of your shots are fabulous as well! How in the world did you capture that very moment that I figured out that Matthew recorded that song for me? I just relived that once in a lifetime wonderfully precious moment all over again just seeing your picture and now my keyboard is soaking wet from my tears!!! Thanks for the beautiful reminder!!!!
